Next Race: April 17 – 18 2021 (2 days – Senior prologue and junior race on the Saturday, Senior main race on the Sunday).
Racetrack Format: Cross Country style event with laps approx. 15km in length, it is a 4 hour extreme enduro
Categories: 5 categories: We have Gold, Silver and Bronze, we also have ladies and juniors (juniors have no class)
Average Daily Riding Time: Prologue on the Saturday: a rider can do as many or as little laps as the wish, their fastest lap will determine their start position in the main race on the Sunday. The Main race is a 4 hour cross country style but many riders can be on the track for up to 7 hours.
Racetrack markings: The race tracks are fully marked and tagged with arrow, tape and bunting.
GPS Mandatory: For this particular race a GPS in not required
Entry Fee: Entry fee Senior Men or Ladies $220 and Juniors $140, we have a $20 camping fee per car
Championship-Race: Yes – Round 2 of the Australian Hard Enduro Championship.
Race History: The first race was held in April 2019, and covid prevented it in 2020
Normal/Expected Attendance: In 2019 we had 186 rides competed in the event.
Nearest Civilisation: The race is held in Towong Upper, 10mins from the township Corryong
Nearest International Airport: 425 km to Melbourne Victoria international Airport. 587 km to Sydney NSW Kingsford Smith Airport.
Rental Motorcycles: Yes.
Race License: You are required to obtain a membership through the Australian Motorcyclist Association www.amaclubs.com.au
Motorcycle Conditions: Bikes don’t need to be registered, insured or road legal as the event is held on private property.
Typical Weather: Beginning of Autumn warm days low 20’s and once the sun goes down it can be a bit cooler.
Sightseeing: Corryong is a country town located in the far north-eastern corner of Victoria, near the pristine upper reaches of the Murray River. It is famed for its picturesque scenery and unspoilt natural attractions including rivers, mountains and forests.
